Compliance Statement

The Newline Barrier Free System is designed to support compliance with the New Zealand Building Code (NZBC) for accessible wet area installations. When installed in accordance with Newline installation instructions and used in conjunction with an approved waterproofing membrane system, the Barrier Free System assists in meeting the performance requirements of:

NZBC Clause B2 - Durability Supporting long-term performance expectations for building elements in wet environments. NZBC Clause E3 - Internal Moisture Assisting in the containment and controlled drainage of water within shower areas. NZBC Clause D1 - Access Routes Supporting level-entry shower design aligned with accessible access requirements where specified.

Where accessibility compliance is required, installation should be assessed against project-specific requirements and relevant standards, including NZS 4121:2001 - Design for Access and Mobility. The Barrier Free System is intended to form part of a complete shower solution, including compatible waste outlets and certified waterproofing membranes applied by approved installers. Final compliance remains subject to project design, installation method, and regulatory approval.
